Friday, June 5th – Dance to the best in Latin music at Milwaukee’s longest-running salsa this and every first Friday at the beautiful Delaware House Studio in Bay View! First Friday Salsa Socials welcome dancers of all levels, no partner or experience required! Enjoy a dance lesson at 8PM followed by open dancing and refreshments from 9PM until midnight. $8 at the door. Hosted by Mezclando Milwaukee.
Saturday, June 6th – Salsabrosa Dance Studio and Mambo Violento present the School’s Out Social at the Astor Hotel. Enjoy a dance lesson at 8PM, followed by pro-am dance performances and the best in Latin music with DJ Jo-Z. Best nerdy costumes win a prize from Chick-fil-A!
Saturday, June 6th – DJ Mateo will be cookin’ up dancing delights this Saturday on the Hotwater side of the Wherehouse! Don’t ask him to play “No Yo Se Mañana”, it ain’t happenin’.
Sunday, June 7th – Experience a summer dance tradition! Join Matt and Betsy of Mezclando Milwaukee for their 5th annual “Gran Rueda”, and discover a different flavor of salsa: La Rueda de Casino! This year’s event will include 8 practice sessions and a final performance at the Milwaukee Latino Carnaval, Saturday, July 25th. This event is open to all levels, no experience or partner required!
