Mezclando Milwaukee and Salsabrosa dance companies welcome guest instructor, Angel Martinez, for a night of workshops and social dancing!
Recent winner of the 2012 Midwest Salsa Open Championship at the Chicago International Salsa Congress, Angel, along with partner Rachel Rodriguez, will be representing the Midwest region in the World Salsa Open Championships in Puerto Rico for the second year in a row this summer! In addition to this success, Angel has been a member of the renowned Gifted Souls Dance Crew and currently teaches out of the Chicago Dance Academy of Salsa.
Don’t miss out on a chance to learn from an incredible talent for an incredible deal! Angel will offer three workshops designed to hone salsa dancer’s technique:
Schedule
- 7pm – shine/footwork workshop
- 8pm – spinning technique workshop
- 9pm – partner work/turn-pattern workshop
Workshops will last approximately 50 minutes each, followed by a 10 minute break. Workshops will be taught “On2” and are designed for dancers who are familiar with basic salsa concepts (advanced-beginners to intermediate). Angel teaches technique for both lead and follow, including both men and ladies styling.
