Saturday, Sept. 19th – Experience a day of workshops, performances, competition, and social dancing at the Wherehouse! This year’s Wisconsin Salsa Open will feature two world champion duos: World Junior Salsa Champs Brandon Ayala and Natasha Silva and World Salsa Cabaret Champs Uriel Garcia and Vera Rowe. This is an event not to be missed! See a showcase of over 15 local and regional teams, cheer on competitors in the Wisconsin Salsa Open as they chase a ticket to the Puerto Rico World Salsa Summit.
Saturday, Sept. 26th – Claudia Sol will be back in Wisconsin to celebrate 3 years of Solseras! Events will be held in Milwaukee and Madison, including a dance social and workshops Sept. 26th and 27th at the Wil-Mar Center in Madison, and workshops in Milwaukee Oct. 3rd at Delaware House.
Friday, Sept. 4th – 8PM until midnight, dance to the best in Latin music at Milwaukee’s longest-running salsa social this and every first Friday of the month at the beautiful Delaware House Studio in Bay View! First Friday Salsa Socials welcome dancers of all levels, no partner or experience required! Enjoy a dance lesson at 8PM followed by open dancing and refreshments from 9PM until midnight. $8 at the door. Hosted by Mezclando Milwaukee.
Friday, Oct. 16th – A night of colorful music and dance from Central and South America await you! Join Panadanza Dance Company at the beautiful Delaware House Studio as they celebrate their seven year anniversary: enjoy Samba lessons with Edilson Lima from Sâo Paulo, Brazil; live music by Samba da Vida and Carlos Adames Group; dance performances by Panadanza; social dancing with DJ Mateo; and plenty of refreshments! Doors open at 6:30pm, dance lessons 7:00-8:30pm, performances at 9pm. Cost: $20
